Collall Fray Check

Collall Fray Check is an adhesive that prevents parts such as buttonholes, cuffs, seams, and collars (points) from fraying. The glue strengthens the textile fibers. It can be used on all fabrics without exception, stopping the fraying of textile materials such as cotton, satin, voile, denim, embroidery fabrics, ribbons, cords, laces, etc.

Specifications

Application: Collall Fray Check is a special type of glue used to prevent fabric fraying. It is ideal for reinforcing seams and edges of fabric, especially when working with fabrics that fray easily. Fray Check is also known as stop-fray or Rafelstop.

Collall Fray Check is a transparent, water-based sealing liquid for maintaining neat edges and seams when working with fabrics. This special glue formula prevents textile fraying, allowing buttonholes, cuffs, collar points, and seams to retain their shape for a long time. Ideal for delicate and fray-prone fabrics such as cotton, satin, voile, denim, embroidery fabrics, bands, cords, laces, etc.

With Fray Check, you reinforce the edges of seams and hems, keeping them intact even after repeated washes. It is a simple alternative to needle and thread, providing a flexible, durable finish for any sewing project. Suitable for a wide range of materials, from cotton to embroidery fabrics, denim, and more.

Collall Rafelstop, your fabric won’t fray anymore

What can you do with Collall Fray Check?

Preventing edge fraying:

If you have a piece of fabric that you’ve cut for a garment, you can apply Fray Check along the edges of the fabric to prevent the threads from coming loose and the fabric from fraying.

Repairing seams:

If a seam in a garment comes undone or is at risk of fraying, you can apply a thin line of Fray Check along the seam to reinforce it.

Finishing appliqué work:

When you add decorations like appliqués to a garment or bag, using Fray Check along the edges can help prevent the appliqué from coming off or fraying.

Reinforcing buttonholes:

Apply Fray Check around the edges of a buttonhole to prevent the fabric from fraying, especially with frequent use of the buttons.

Ends of ribbons or cords:

If you’re using ribbons or cords in a project, you can apply Fray Check to the ends to prevent them from fraying.

Repairing damaged fabrics:

If a garment or fabric is accidentally damaged and at risk of fraying, you can use Fray Check to seal the edges and prevent further damage.

These examples show how versatile Fray Check can be for protecting and reinforcing fabrics in various types of projects.
