EVA (Ethylene-Vinyl-Acetate) foam

EVA (Ethylene-Vinyl-Acetate) foam is one of the most commonly used types of foam for crafting and hobby purposes. It is lightweight, flexible, and available in various colors.

It comes in different thicknesses, from thin sheets of 1–2 mm to thicker plates of 3–10 mm. The thicker the foam, the more strength and formability it has. EVA foam can vary in quality. High-quality EVA foam is usually softer and has better elasticity, while cheaper variants can be harder and less flexible. It is important to pay attention to the foam’s density; the higher the density, the firmer the material.

Usage:

EVA foam is often used for making foam figures, decorations, hats, costumes, and for children to craft with. It can be easily cut, punched, and painted. Great for crafting at home and school! There are plenty of online stores where EVA foam can be purchased.
